either four square or capture the flag baby. I'd still like to get a nice pickup game of four square up and running.

If I told you I'd have to kill you.
If you could write like one fiction author, who would it be?

There are probably too many to name, but the first one that comes to mind is Kurt Vonnegut
So some of you may or may not have noticed my Voxing has diminished quite a bit. The corporation I'm currently consulting for decided to block Vox from it's servers. I never let blogging get in the way of my work but would use it occasionally during the day when I had some downtime or just to take a small break and focus on something else so I could concentrate on the task at hand.
I wasn't convinced when I first signed up but I quickly became attached to the community and e-friends that Vox allows you to organically grow through your blog. I really like the tools that are available and the ability to connect with people so easily. Vox is definitely a breakthrough in personal blogging allowing you to not only write and contribute but to build interesting relationships with people in your neighborhood.
All that being said, I need an outlet during the day. I need to be able to take part of my lunch break and blow out some stream of consciousness bullshit and get on with my day. I do most of my professional writing early in the morning or later at night, my personal stuff helps me get through the day.
I have my own site with my own server but it's my business. I like the idea of a third party company hosting me and doing all the grunt work for my personal corner of the web. I do enough work on my sites on the Metadish network, I really like the idea of a third part taking care of the rest for my personal blog. Plus, I just like playing with new toys and gadgets, and publishing platforms are my favorites.
I've used Typepad in the past but as it's not a free solution, I'm a little hesitant to go back to it. I know they're focusing more on the professional blogger and for what they charge, it's an outstanding service. Although I have to admit I would love to see Typepad do a serious update on their backend GUI.
I'm also considering Wordpress.com and their free hosted solution, but I'll be exploring a few others before I make my final decision. I hope that whatever I choose I can continue to get awesome feedback from the cool folks in my neighborhood here as I, of course, continue to do the same.
What was the worst job you ever had?
Submitted by salaryman.
This question was tough for me. I've had many, many jobs and they have all varied pretty drastically. For me a certain task "job" doesn't make a job bad. Normally, the worst jobs I've ever had were that way because of stupid, short-sighted bosses that were too scared of being found out as frauds and felt they had to make your life miserable to give the perception that they were actually doing something.
One manager in particular comes to mind that I had some outrageous wars with. Screaming, cursing, yelling the whole nine yards. The best part of it, for me at least, was that he knew he couldn't fire me because his boss knew I was good at what I did.
Still, I fucking loathed that man. He was ignorant and self-righteous and refused to compromise on anything no matter what the evidence showed. He made that job absolutely miserable for me. I can only hope, in some small way, I did the same for him.
Now I know that Blackberries integrate well with Outlook and all of it's functions but it seems that, at least on Windows Vista, there's at least a little animosity between the folks at Microsoft and the folks at RIM.
What I would really like to see is Gmail step up to the plate and at the very least release a fix for syncing Gcal with your blackberry, syncing contacts and tasks too would be fabulous.
The thing is, while I do use my Blackberry with my corporate email account, I mainly use it for my personal business and personal emails, which are both run by Google Hosted Mail and Gmail respectively.
A lot of people have Blackberries because they specifically made the choice to not have a Windows based PDA, that seems like the perfect opening for Google to step in and release a new way to sync your Blackberry with your Gcal information.
I know there are some options out there, Gcalsync comes to mind, but as far as I know there is a time zone issue going on there and that's pretty major when you're trying to keep your calendar up to date with your appointments.
Here. Specifically for all you ball-less so-called liberals who insist that McCain, just isn't that bad.
“I do not support Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned,” the Arizona senator told about 800 people in South Carolina, one of the early voting states.
McCain also vowed that if elected, he would appoint judges who “strictly interpret the Constitution of the United States and do not legislate from the bench.”
Idiot.
